El día 15 de mayo de 2011, se celebró en la localidad cacereña de Brozas, la festividad de San Isidro Labrador. Los actos en honor al santo tuvieron lugar en la iglesia parroquial de los Santos Mártires y consistieron en una celebración litúrgica que se llevó a cabo a las 12h30.
Posteriormente, en la puerta del templo, se procedió a la subasta de los ramos o gavillas de trigo, avena y centeno y de los seis brazos de las andas que transporta a la imagen en procesión. A continuación el santo, acompañado de vecinos y convecinos, se encaminó hasta la ermita de Santa Lucía, donde concluyeron los actos religiosos.
Hay que destacar que esta celebración se recuperó hace cuatro años, después de desaparecer del calendario religioso y festivo de la localidad por espacio de treinta años -2011 ha sido el cuatro año de esta nueva etapa-. La recuperación de esta actividad del patrimonio cultural extremeño, la ha protagonizado la Cooperativa Agrícola “San Isidro” de Brozas, a través de su directiva y de sus socios, en una empresa totalmente voluntaria y de acción de gracias al santo por las cosechas de antaño y de hogaño. Ésta, al término de la procesión, invita a sus socios y devotos a un vino en honor al santo.

On May, 15th, 2011 was held in the town of Cáceres called Brozas the feast of San Isidro Labrador. The events in honor of the saint took place in the Parish church of the Holy Martyrs and consisted of a liturgical celebration which took place at 12:30 am.
Later, in the gate of the temple, we proceeded to auction off the banches, of sheaves of wheat oacts, rye and the six branches of the litter that carries the image in procession.
Then, the Saint, accompanied by residents and neighbors, he went to the hermitage of Santa Lucía where concluded the ceremonies. Should be notes that this celebration was recovered for four years ago, after disappearing from the religious calendar and local holiday for thirty years. 2011 has been the fourth year of this new stage.
The recovery of this activity Extramadura cultural heritage has starred in the agricultural cooperative "San Isidro" Brozas, throught its leadership and its partners in on an entirely voluntary and thanksgivings to the saint of old crop and Hogan. This, at the end of the procession invites its members and devotees to a wine in honor of the Saint.
